POLYCHROME CRAFTSMANSHIP

Our artisans use traditional materials, such as wrought iron, wood, pure fabrics and natural glues, polychrome (composed of natural pigments). Only traditional finishing processes are used, (patina, oxidizing processes, natural wax).

 

 

GILDING

The artist covers the carved wooden surface with several layers of natural glue. Then, with a brush made of badger’s bristle, he coats it with base of Armenia soil, and lastly applies gold leaf with the greatest of care.

The creation is then polished with an agate stone.

 

FINE UPHOLSTERY

We use the finest fabrics which are supplied by the most established French fabric Houses. The fitting is done by hand, in harmony with ancient furniture making traditions, reflecting our respect for art and passion for our profession. Experience translate into quality.
