We are presenting an exclusive collection of luxurious homes for your 4-legged family members (dogs and cats). Designed and manufactured in accordance with the finest old world traditions, our collection consists of reproductions of the very pet homes that were commissioned by the kings of XVIII century France. All of these pieces are unique artistic creations, carefully realized in our cabinet-making studios. Only the noblest materials are used, including the finest fabrics supplied by the most established French fabric houses.
The Designer: Pierre Zordan.
Pierre Zordan is a passionnate antiquarian. He has spent over three decades searching the world for rare, unusual and beautiful objets d’art. A collector at heart, Mr. Zordan is particularly fond of XVIII century functional furniture, and has a special appreciation for unique pieces, with their distinctive esthetic qualities.
Pierre Zordan also has a creative eye. Early in his career, he began to design library cabinets, using carefully selected antique woods. To his clients, he brings his artistic touch, expertise and comprehensive knowledge of traditional materials. Over the last twenty years, Mr. Zordan has gained the confidence and trust of a very demanding and selective international clientele.
Recently, he has turned his attention to the unique and beautiful pet homes, inspired by the creations of the master cabinet makers from courts of the kings of France at Versailles during the time of the renaissance.
In addition to having a special affection for domestic animals, Mr. Zordan is also fascinated by the object itself. He is motivated by the idea to recreate an object that has disappeared from our times, using the finest quality materials available.
The final stage of design and production takes place in one of our studios located in Aix-en-Provence. Our craftsmen and artisans are guided by several specialists, each expert in topics such as traditional upholstery, sculpture and carving, and XVIII century decoration. Just as any other collectible furniture, each of these creations has become a work of art in itself. The embodiment of elegance, these pet homes are both decorative and functional, and will add a unique touch into your elegant living space.
